Open the Control Panel and run the FlexTalk 2.1 Configuration applet. Press CONTROL+TAB to get to the Reading Style tab. Locate the Abbreviations group box and choose the appropriate radio buttons “Are Interpreted” or “Are sounded out or spelled” depending on your preference.
