I am trying to import into QuickBooks but I cant find my export file, where is it?

When exporting from Director Series, it is always a good idea to write down or make note of the file path and name of the file before clicking OK to export. The default location that Director Series exports the IIF file to is C:\ProgramFiles\KarmakInc\DirectorSeries but this can be changed to a different location by the person doing the export. If unable to find the file in the location listed above or in the location that you normally import it from, then at the computer that the export was done from go to the Windows Start button and then select Search (you can also hit the Windows Key + F). Type in the name of the file and tell it to search. If you are not sure of the file name, type *.IIF for the file name and it will find all IIF files. The results should contain your export file. Note where the file is saved, then when trying to import into QuickBooks browse to that location and select the file.
