I am trying to add a brake to a bearing. Where do I find the machining services for the bearings?
AutoQuoterX Rev.1 does not include linear bearing machining services. They are currently being considered for Revision 2. Note: One temporary solution would be to create a special part that calls out the brake machining service. For an example if you want a brake hole in a 6815 bearing at location LB you would create it as follows. Insert a line of text into the drawing and type in the service number 7400. Next select the special part button from the AutoQuoterX menu, select “User Part” and give it a part number of “7400”, with a description of “6815 w/ 7400 @ LB”, enter “4.25” for the price, lastly select the object and base points for the special part and create the part. Note: remember to copy the special part text in the drawing if you have more then one bearing requiring the same service.
