I am thinking of pursuing a joint degree; what are my options?

0

Law Schools now offer a wide variety of joint degree programs. Acquiring a second degree while in law school can be a wonderful way to broaden your professional knowledge and skills. However, joint degrees do not automatically increase your viability on the legal job market. Many law schools now offer a variety of curricular, scholarly, and/or experiential opportunities as part of their regular academic programs. Before deciding to pursue a joint degree, ask yourself, can I get the experience and background that I need from the JD alone? Remember, you will pay more money in tuition for a joint degree and spend more time in school. We therefore strongly recommend that all applicants do a careful costs-benefit analysis before embarking on a joint degree program.
