I am testing myWIFIzone but it is not blocking my “intruder” PC. What is the problem?
This could be due to several reasons: 1. The first thing to do is reboot your “intruder” PC. Remember, this is what an intruder will do when he/she tries to surf the web from your WIFI network. 2. myWIFIzone may be set to monitor the wrong network. When installed, myWIFIzone guesses which network adaptor is connected to your wireless network, but sometimes it guesses wrong. You can change this setting from the System page where it says “Network Interface” 3. The web site(s) are cached on your “intruder” PC. To save time, your browser stores recently visited pages on your local machine and may be retreiving this local data instead of getting it from the internet. Clicking the Refresh button (or even better, clicking refresh while holding down the “Ctrl” button on your keyboard) should force it to try to get the page from the internet. 4.
