Here is an exciting project for chemistry… Add ‘mentos’ mint to a bottle of diet coke (remember to take a plastic bottle, else glass bottle can explode) and observe that the evolution of carbon dioxide increase drastically. Another one is right here… Take a bottle of ‘mountain dew’ and take out three fourth of it in a glass. Now, add a pinch of sodium bicarbonate in the bottle containing one fourth of mountain dew. To this, add about 3 ml H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide). Close the bottle and shake well… Turn off the lights and you can see that the bottle shines.
