I am running WAIS and the barometric readout on WAIS and WAMON is 3 inches lower than the readout on the Davis Weather Monitor II- Why aren the readings the same?
The pressure obtained from the WMII is the “raw” pressure from the sensor. The WMII display unit adds or subtracts an offset to this “raw” data to display the correct pressure. This is what is actually displayed on the WMII LCD display. WAIS must be set do the same otherwise it will display the “raw” data. If you go to the “console” tab of WAIS. You will be able to set the pressure. You will see a Button labeled “SET” with the word “Barometer” above it. Enter the correct pressure in the box to the right and click the SET button.
