I am responsible for several older PSA plants that have Jamesbury butterfly valves installed in switching applications. Can these older valves be upgraded to the current high cycle design?

Yes. The high cycle design option utilizes bearings and seals that fit into standard valve bodies. Older valves that were purchased with standard construction can be easily upgraded to the new design. Please contact your nearest Metso Automation office or authorized representative to determine the best course of action to get your valves upgraded.
