I am relocating to Arizona in the near future. How is the Arizona Chapter set up?
The AZ Chapter is governed by a 19-member Board of Directors. The office is staffed by two employees: Carol Stambaugh, Executive Director, and RoAnne Edick, Administrative Assistant. Chapter services include a biennial state conference, educational workshops, a bi-monthly newsletter, and general resource assistance. We have approximately 2000 members in Arizona and the Chapter is divided into four geographical branches, each with local leadership that develops and implements programs to further professional goals. The AZ Chapter of NASW is divided into 4 major branches. Branch 1 contains the metro Phoenix area and extends west to Yuma. Branch 2 includes Tucson and the southern part of the state. Branch 3 is the northern area including Flagstaff and Branch 4 is a small branch that contains the area of Prescott and Prescott Valley.
