I am preparing my DVD for consideration for KWU Approved Trainer. What are the requirements?
In addition to the completed application and the letter of recommendation from your regional director, you need to submit a DVD of you teaching a KWU approved course. There are specific requirements you need to meet or the DVD will not be considered. 1. Must be in DVD format. No other format will be accepted. 2. Must be a KWU approved course. See the KWU website under “Courses and Events” for a listing of courses. 3. Must include your introduction to the class. 4. Must include an activity conducted with the class. 5. Highlight your training of the course material to include your personal stories (what makes this course unique to you as a prospective KWU Approved Trainer?) 6. Your DVD should be no less than 45 minutes and no longer than 1 hour in length. Note: You do not have to do any fancy editing of your DVD. If you do not have the capability to edit your DVD, you may choose to start and re-start your video recorder during the class to only capture the sections you need.
