There are several options available to new home builders. Generally customers could install the traditional solar panels flush mounted and raised a few inches over the roof surface for the lowest cost. Alternatively, there are some new products that can be integrated into the building. It’s called Building Integrated PV or BIPV. We offer a thin film PV solution that nicely integrates into a standing seam metal roof.
