I am on the Healthy Solutions plan. Can I substitute fresh fruit juice for any of the water in my shakes and still equal 1 shake and 1 fruit serving?

In our clinic, fruit (and/or vegetable) juice cannot “count” as a fruit or vegetable. Fruit and vegetable juice is not a part of the weigh-loss phase of the program. You can put a whole fruit in the blender with your shake and count it as a serving. The fruit can be frozen, fresh or canned. This applies to the in-clinic option as well as those folks using the HMR At Home option through The Nutrition Resource.
