Flax oil does thin the blood somewhat. As one person reported, I have had bruise marks different times from blood draws. The higher the amount of flax oil used the more likely to have such marks. If a person were taking much of it I would be concerned with an operation. I had a growth removed from a foot and it took two sets of bandages to get the bleeding stopped. Flaxseed oils mild blood thinning quality should not be a serious matter unless you are on blood-thinning medication. In that case you should make allowances for it.
