I am now a Tai ceredigion tenant. How will this affect my Housing Benefit?
On 30 November 2009, the Local Authority transferred its housing stock to Tai Ceredigion housing association. If you are currently in receipt of Housing Benefit we will pay your entitlement direct to Tai Ceredigion on your behalf, 4 weekly in arrears. It will still be your responsibility to make up any short fall between your Housing Benefit and your rent, and pay your water rates. If you are claiming Housing Benefit for the first time since the stock transfer you will receive your Housing Benefit in the same way as other Housing Association tenants.
