The USB stick will work well if you only have a few files. I went out an bought a external hard drive that holds way more files than the stick. If you have a Virus scan program on your PC, you can basically Right click the mouse (don’t click on the button to the left, click the right button) and a menu will pop on screen. In the screen it should have scan for viruses. If it doesn’t have viruses then put on your new pc. Or you can just do a virus check of the whole Pc. The Pc will more than likely have virus protectors, not the whole version but it should get you through the first month at least. Anything transferred to the new pc will give you a warning if it does have viruses and the pc will ask if you want to remove that virus.
