I am moving, and, unfortunately, will no longer need my Intercity monitoring service. What is the procedure for canceling my account?
All you have to do is contact us and request that we cancel your account. You can make that request in writing (a fax is fine as well) or over the telephone by calling Ellen at 800-872-9823, extension 174. If you call to cancel your account please be sure to have your passcode handy. We cannot accept cancellations over the telephone without a valid passcode. You will also have to make arrangements to have the alarm panel physically disabled. We cannot stop billing you until the panel is physically disabled because it will continue to send signals to the Central Station until it is. If you have leased a backup radio unit from Intercity Alarms, you must also make arrangements to return that to us as well.
