If you already own a computer, you can certainly bring it with you. The important thing to remember is that before plugging it in; make sure that the voltage on the power supply is set to 220 voltage, not 110! Most power supplies will have a red toggle switch that will allow you to change the voltage. All laptops will work here in Israel, but you will need to adapt the electrical plug once you arrive so that you can plug in the adapter to the electrical outlets here. You can buy a small adapter for this which is not expensive.
