The Liberal Studies M.A. Program encourages its students to present papers at conferences and submit work for publishing. Many academic departments and research institutes or centers have listservs students can join to receive emails about events, conferences and journals. A list of academic departments and programs is online at the GSAS website. A list of research institutes and centers is online at the Columbia website.
