I am interested in obtaining CPR & First Aid Training to meet DODD certification requirements. Which organizations should I contact to schedule my training?
The DODD accepts First Aid and CPR training provided by organizations approved by the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). A complete listing of those organizations is available by visiting the ODJFS website at www.jfs.ohio.gov and click on Child Care Resources. Then select ‘Provider Resources’, then ‘What’s New?’, and then ‘First Aid Training’. Applicants are encouraged to obtain CPR and or First Aid training from one of the organizations listed. To ensure your application to become a waiver provider is reviewed and approved as quickly as possible, verification of CPR and or First Aid certification must be submitted with your application.
