I am interested in joining iShift Citizen. How do I get started?
By reading this section you are already off to a great start! Think about some actions you could do to improve the sustainability of your home, office place, organization and / or community. Sustainability means doing things that are environmentally, socially and economically sound. Once you decide on an issue you would like to address (i.e. how you get to work or how much waste you create), find 5 to 10 people to work on that same issue. Register your group on this website under “Join” no later than APRIL 30th for the chance to win a prize valued at $500. Commit to meeting with your group 6 times over the next 6 months. Pick your workbook up from the Municipal Office (ready by April 30th) to learn how you can create goals and objectives; identify barriers and opportunities and track your progress. After you have completed your actions, all that’s left to do is celebrate!
