Yes. Existing DVRs are compatible with your Cox Digital Cable service. However, setting up a DVR system from another vendor with your Cox Cable television box may be confusing to some users. If you have Cox Digital Cable, you will likely end up with two separate program guides – the Cox guide and the DVR guide. This will likely be confusing and/or cumbersome to the user.
