You can visit many of the lighthouses without needing to get on a ferry: Currituck Beach Lighthouse ( Corolla ) Bodie Island Lighthouse Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Ocracoke can be driven to but it requires a vehicle ferry to get to the island of Ocracoke. Oak Island Lighthouse in addition to the replica lighthouses at Manteo and Plymouth.
