A. Yes. If you are insured by any of the companies listed below, your plan covers the cost of your vaccination, and our administrator files the paperwork with your insurance company. Thus, there will be no charge to you for your shot. You must bring your insurance card to the clinic with your UNC One Card. • Blue Cross Blue Shield • Pearce and Pearce • Partners • Aetna • Humana Gold • SummaCare • Advantra Freedom • Medicare Part B If you are not insured with any of the companies listed above, you can still get a flu shot, but you will have to pay $25 (cash or check) at the time of your appointment. After vaccination, you will receive a form indicating that you received a shot. If you have a different company than those listed above, you can then file that form with your company for reimbursement. Please contact your health insurer to see if you can obtain reimbursement.
