You will need the following documents: * Deployment Orders, if applicable * Military Affidavit (PV-PP-57), listing each vehicle being registered or renewed * Military Identification Card * Proof of insurance * A current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) If titling the vehicle in Kansas for the first time, a Vehicle Inspection will be required by the Highway Patrol Inspection Division. If the vehicle is not in the state, you will need to follow the TR65 Instructions. Once you have registered in Kansas, remove all other states plates from your vehicle. Effective July 1, 2008, it is illegal to display front plates from another state with back plates from Kansas. You may be stopped and ticketed.
