If the salary range of the post you are redeployed into is at a lower level than your protected salary you will continue to receive your current salary protection until either the salary level of the post is equal to or greater than your protected salary or pay reform salary protection until 31 March 2010. Thereafter, if the post you have been redeployed into is one grade higher than or the same as the grade of your substantive post you will move on to appropriate spinal column point of the grade of the post. If however, the grade of the new post is lower than the grade of the substantive post, there will be a further period of salary protection until 31 March 2012.
