I am going to work in Canada as a missionary, pastor, minister or lay preacher to preach doctrine or provide spiritual counselling to a congregation or group. Do I require a work permit?
No, you do not need a work permit. You may go to Canada as a visitor. You should fill out an application for a visitor visa and submit it to the Embassy along with a processing fee for “Replacement or Certification of a Document” so that we can retrieve your medical results and give you a letter to show to the immigration officer at the port of entry. Without this proof that you have passed a medical exam, you may be denied entry to Canada and sent back to Korea.
