I am going to study at a foreign university. What is the procedure to find out if the credit for courses I take abroad can be transferred?
You should first refer to the Transfer Equivalencies Table that can be accessed from Oscar to see if your course is listed there as being approved for transfer of credit. If it is approved in the Transfer Equivalencies Table, then please contact Dr. Tittle after you take the class with documentation regarding the grade you earned in the class to complete the transfer of credit. If it is not an approved course, please email Professor Nair-Reichert a detailed syllabus for the course. A course catalog description is insufficient to evaluate whether credit for a course taken abroad can be transferred. (Please note that online courses will not be accepted for transfer of credit.) You will be informed by email whether the transfer of credit is approved or not. Once you receive the approval, please contact Dr. Tittle to complete the documentation and paperwork required for the transfer of credit.
