Present day jobs and sitting in front of computers bring neck and back pain. You may follow the guidelines as above to reduce pain: 1. Sit straight and adjust your computer so as to look down at the screen a little. 2. Neck has to be straight without crouching towards the computer. 3. Shoulder blades should be down, back and relaxed. 4. Adjust your chair to ensure your arms are bend at 90 degrees and resting at your sides. Rest your arms at the chair’s armrest to slightly lift them above shoulders to take the strain on shourlders. 5. Lower back should be between an arched back and clouched lower back. 6. Knees are to be bent at 90 degree and foot should rest on the floor without hanging loose. I hope taking care of your sitting posture as above while working will ease your discomfort a lot.
