I am feeling pressurised into having sex and do not feel ready. What should I do?
It is important that you don’t do anything you don’t want to do. Speak to the person pressurising you if you feel able to do so. Alternatively, you may find it useful to talk about your feelings with the Student Counselling Service, your GP (doctor, probably the Student Health Centre), or Voice. If you are not ready to talk to a Counsellor or Advisor then you might want to discuss things with a Chaplain first – Chaplains are available to listen and help without committing you to a further course of action, and they will often know who best can help. Students based at the Cornwall Campus may want to talk to the Counselling Service based at Student Services.
