I am engaged to be married in two years…. when should I start wedding dress shopping?
I would say start going to stores between 6 and 9 months. I would order my dress by 6 months, because it takes about 3 months to get a dress in (depends on the store) and then you have to schedule for your alterations that can take up to two months. I just picked up my wedding gown and my wedding is 6 months away. I have alterations in March, wedding on May 22, 2010. I should have my gown back from alterations 2 weeks before the wedding.
