I am eligible for Medi-Cal, but haven applied yet. Can I use CMSP instead?
No. If it is determined that you may be eligible for Medi-Cal or other benefits, you must apply for Medi-Cal or those other benefits as instructed. If it is determined that you were eligible for Medi-Cal when you applied for and obtained CMSP, you will be retroactively denied CMSP; and you will be financially responsible for any bills.
