Yes – the structure of dispute resolution has changed and arbitration has been removed. . The new structure ensures that the right decisions are made quickly and fairly, with avenues for appeal. The new structure for dispute resolution is: • Conciliation • Judicial determination (single presidential member) • Full Bench of the Workers Compensation Tribunal • Appeal to Full Supreme Court on special leave. This comes into effect on 1 January 2009.
