Yes – the structure of dispute resolution has changed and arbitration has been removed. The new structure ensures that the right decisions are made quickly and fairly, with avenues for appeal. The new structure for dispute resolution is: • Conciliation • Judicial determination (single presidential member) • Full Bench of the Workers Compensation Tribunal • Appeal to Full Supreme Court on special leave. This comes into effect on 1 January 2009.
