I am currently using another management system. If I decide to purchase InsurancePro, can I convert my data?
You can in most cases. For certain programs, like Agency Advantage and Quick File, you can transfer your data from their system in to InsurancePro with a click of a button. For others, if you are able to export your data in to a standard format, like Microsoft Excel or comma separated value file, we can manually do the transfer for you. There is no additional cost for this conversion. Another way to initially populate your database, WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON, is that you can request your Insurance Companies that support AL3 Download through IVANS to setup your agency for an initial download with InsurancePro. Your Insurance Company will setup a file for your IVANS account to be downloaded in InsurancePro, which will contain detailed information about all your existing customers with that Insurance Company. This feature will initially be available only for personal lines auto insurance policies, but we will expand it to cover other types of policies also.
