I am currently undertaking a non-Psychology undergraduate degree but wish to become a registered psychologist. What postgraduate course should I do?
In total you will need to undertake two years of further study in two different courses. The Graduate Diploma in Psychology, PY08 is designed to meet the needs of graduates from non-Psychology degrees who wish to become registered Psychologists. On completion of this one-year course graduates are eligible for entry to either the Postgraduate Diploma in Pyschology PY20 course or the Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology) PY09 course provided they meet the required GPA entry levels for the two courses. Students intending to apply for PY09 are required to take the unit PYB350 Advanced Statistical Analysis as their elective option. Further details of all three courses are available in Studyfinder www.studyfinder.qut.edu.au.
