I am currently on a budget billing plan with my utility. What will happen when I switch to BlueStar?
Pennsylvania Customers – Allegheny, Met-Ed, PECO or Penelec: • Your budget billing status with the utility will not change as the utility will still be issuing your bill that consolidates the BlueStar energy supply charge with the utility delivery charges. Pennsylvania PPL and Illinois Customers: • Since BlueStar will be issuing your bill, you will need to call the utility to cancel your budget billing status. The utility will true up your account at that time, showing your total balance due on your last utility bill. If you want to sign up for Budget Billing with Bluestar, you can do so at the time of enrollment or at a later date.
