No, as per our understanding, DIAC will continue to accept all VETASSESS Skill Assessments from both the old and new system provided that your nominated occupation remains on the Skilled Occupation List and VETASSESS is the designated assessing authority for that occupation. Applicants who apply for qualifications assessment in support of a 485 visa application after the 1st January 2010, will need to return to VETASSESS for Final Skills Assessment.
