ANSWER Floor joists can easily be raised or lowered to the height you desire. To make the floor joists in your drawing flush with the top of the stem wall: • First, launch Home Designer Pro. • Next, open the drawing in which you are going to adjust the height of the floor joist. • Joists will need to be added to the foundation of your structure. If you do not already have a foundation on your structure, from the menu select Build> Floor> Build Foundation and create a new foundation. If you already have a foundation, simply go to floor zero. • If you have not already created joists on your foundation level, a floor joist can be created by selecting Build> Framing> Joist from the menu. • Once you have selected Joist, your mouse pointer will turn into a cross and you will be able to click and drag to add a single joist on your drawing. In Home Designer Pro version 8.0 and later, if you do not already have the Framing, Floor layer displayed, the program will prompt you with a dialog, askin
