I am concerned about candle safety, what are the rules to enjoy my gel candles?
Follow these safety rules to enjoy your gel candle: • Keep wick trimmed to 1/8″ to ¼” • Never burn a candle near gas fumes or other flammable household products • Never burn a candle unattended. • Never burn a candle unsupervised and within the reach of children and pets • Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time • Never burn a candle too close to flammables including silk plants and curtains • Never extinguish the candle with water • Never burn a candle completely dry or to the bottom • Never burn a candle in a container that has been chipped or cracked • Always protect furniture from the heat of a burning candle • Always use caution when handling a warm candle • Always keep candle upright • Always stop burning candle within 2″ of the bottom of the container floor • Always burn candle on a level surface.
