I am attempting to log on to the website and receive the following message: The URL you are attempting to access is no longer valid. What is happening?
When you attempt to go to NMIS Online, you go through a local Internet Service Provider (ISP). The ISP will then route you to NMIS Online’s physical servers. Depending on where you are attempting to access NMIS Online from (California versus New York), you will have to be “bounced” through different routers before reaching the server. If you live in California and type in the Internet site address, provided nothing is “down” with your local ISP or with the Internet site, you may bounce through five servers before reaching NMIS Online. Although this seems like a long process, in reality, this should occur almost instantaneously.
