Yes to both questions. If you are currently receiving VA survivor benefits, you will lose them should you remarry (those who remarry on or after their 57th birthday are exempt). Additionally, should this subsequent marriage end, you will once again be eligible for VA survivor benefits, and may have them reinstated. Please call 1-800-827-1000 to learn more.
