I am a victim in a case and the juvenile has not paid restitution, what are my options?
A. This Court’s Restitution Officer is very diligent in his efforts to obtain restitution for victims of juvenile crimes. In many instances, however, juveniles are not able to work and it becomes difficult to obtain payment. Victims may also seek restitution from the parents of the juvenile by initiating a civil lawsuit in the appropriate court.
