I am a vendor who provides classes and/or other services at multiple child care centers. Can I initiate and pay for my own DFPS background checks and fingerprint checks?

At this time you must be a registered or licensed child-care operation in order to utilize the DFPS on-line web site to submit background checks. However, your company may submit background checks through DFPS as an Exempt Operation.
