As you will be aware the SIA requires all trainers delivering scenario-based conflict management training for the SIA approved qualifications to have received relevant training. The deadline for trainers to achieve a conflict management trainers qualification (such as the Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Award in The Delivery of Conflict Management Training) has changed from 1st January 2006 to 1st August 2006. Edexcel auditors will require to see evidence that trainers have plans in place to achieve the qualification by the new deadline. Suitable evidence will include an enrolment letter from the training provider or an awarding body candidate registration number.
