Different arrangements apply to different sub-classes of temporary visa holders. In most cases temporary visa holders will pay the new TAFE NSW fees in addition to set tuition fees, in some cases tuition fees may be waived, but TAFE NSW fees may still apply. In other cases fees are set by TAFE English Languages Centres or TAFE PLUS. Temporary protection visa holders will be treated as Australian citizens for the purpose of fees, i.e. they pay TAFE NSW fees and have access to exemptions if they fall into one of the exemption categories. The new TAFE NSW fees do not apply to international students, who pay set international student fees. They also do not apply to commercial students who pay commercial rates.
