I am a regular traveller to the UK. Can my visa application be processed any quicker?
Yes. If you meet the criteria you may use the premium service facility. You can only use the premium service facility at the VFS UK Visa Application Centre in Accra. All applications must be supported by relevant documentation and submitted between 08:00 -16:00. You can usually collect your passport after 48 hours between 16:00 and 17:00. • Can I apply on behalf of a child? Yes. You must bring the child’s original birth certificate when applying for their visa. If you are not the child’s parent then you will also have to support the application with a letter of parental consent, a copy of evidence of parent’s identity, for example a passport and a letter from the child’s school or college.
