If you are a reapplicant, you will need to submit an updated resume, a summary of your activities, including research activities and additional coursework if any, and an additional letter of recommendation. These documents should be sent to Mr. McCarthy (david.mccarthy@nyu.edu) at least one month in advance of the date that you intend to submit your reapplication. We will use these documents to prepare an update to your original letter of recommendation. Health professional schools will receive both the original and the update. We also strongly encourage you to meet with an advisor prior to your reapplication. If you are unable to provide us with ALL the requested documents, we will be happy to forward your old committee letter without an update. Keep in mind, however, that medical schools expect to see significant changes and improvements in a reapplication. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to wait at least one year between applications.
