I am a prospective student. What kind of scholarships and financial aid does Victoria College offer?
A4. Students with high standing in their secondary school studies may be offered an admission scholarship. This is automatically assessed and notification is sent in the student’s admission package from UofT. The value generally ranges from $1,500 to $3,000. Once you are registered as a Vic student, you may qualify for an automatic in-course scholarship of $1,000 at the end of your first, second, or third year (5.0 credits/year of study) with an A standing (GPA 3.50+). We also offer special awards that students may apply for (e.g. essay prizes, participation awards, etc.). Annual deadlines are posted on our website. Students who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply for OSAP in the summer prior to beginning their studies in the fall. If, during the school year, you experience a shortfall in funds, or if your financial situation changes unexpectedly, you may apply for a bursary from the Registrar’s Office. The value is generally $500-$1,000. Application deadlines are Nov. 1
