All specialty contractors licensed by the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board (PCCLB) must complete 14 hours of continuing education biennially (every odd year renewal). Your 14 hours of continuing education must include at least one hour of each of the following: (a) specialized or advanced module course approved by the Florida Building Commission or the Board (b) workplace safety (c) business practices (d) workers’ compensation (e) laws and rules regulating the construction industry (f) wind mitigation methodologies of license is held in the following categories: specialty structure or glass and glazing.
