Hi Nina – I used to work at the bank and I was short once in awhile, so I know what you’re going through! Although I don’t know how long you have been working there, being short 3 times is not too big of a deal (unless you’ve been working there for a week or two – that would be bad). What you can be fired for, though, is the inaccuracies. If the bank does not believe that you are taking the money, then they are going to have to look at how accurate you are. It is a liability for them to have someone constantly being short, not only because they may be losing money, but because they will then have to consider all of your other calculations are and that takes time and resources for them. So my advice is to not worry about losing your job; focus on not being short and making all the transactions correctly and properly. Hope this helps!
